I really don't care for Bill Maher, but I love a statement he made in one of his HBO Comedy Specials, "Why are Conservative, with the word 'conserve' built right into their name, the last one's to embrace Conservation?"  I may be paraphrasing a bit, but why is that so true?  Ann Colter a Conservative, professing Christian editorialist, wrote in a recent book, that God gave us dominion over this earth and the universe, and if we want to use it all up and trash it, then head to Mars and do it all over again, we can and should.  Maybe she thinks "dominion" means "total lack of responsibility and common sense".  When we give our children a present, not one of us is happy when they destroy it or use it improperly, so why would God be happy about a world, that He gave us pristine, that we return destroyed.  Is this how we show our love for our God and appreciation for the Gifts he gave us?  Maybe Ann Colter worships the God of Destruction, maybe most Conservatives do too.
