When the heaviest hitters of the reigning party give everything they have and the Bill passes 220-215, you know no one really wants this Bill.  I love how Pelosi and a few other Democratic stuffed-shirts came in to the final debate at the closing speech, nothing like showing your support for a whole 5 minutes and a photo op.  But, this page is not about the Bill in its entirety, it is about a severely contested amendment to the Bill, the Anti-Abortion Clause.

No matter what your stand on Abortion is, no one should be forced to fund something they are Morally against.  The most recent study stated that 51% of Americans are against Abortion.  I wouldn't expect an Atheist to pay for a program that gives money to support Churches, why do Liberals believe they have the right to force the Majority to fund abortion?  If anything proves how biased, self-serving, and down right un-American Liberals are, it is their absolute inability to listen or compromise on any issue they disagree with, and their propensity for forcing others to listen and accept their way of life.  Maybe we need a Constitutional Amendment that makes it treason to embrace any ideology that suppresses Constitutional Rights and begin expelling the traitors from the country.  Atheist, Homosexuals, Abortion Rights Activists, and most Liberals, have the distinct characteristic of screaming "Free Speech" & "Tolerance", but never allow that for anyone else.  Just a clue for you all, NO ONE has a Right for themselves that they deny to others!

This Health Reform Bill is as ludicrous as the Bail-Out Bill and the Stimulus Package, it will do nothing to solve the problem it was created for, it will simply bankrupt America to funnel money and power to people who should never be trusted with either one.  The controversy over the Anti-Abortion Clause really brings home how far we have gotten from the America we believe ourselves to be, and how ridiculous and hateful a segment of our population has become.

I think it is time that the States quit supporting the Federal Government.  Keep all the taxes for themselves and let the Fed make money from its dealings with foreign countries.  I am for supporting the Military and Security Branches, National Parks and Museums, but everything else should be thrown back to the Fed and let them generate their own funds, not fleece the People.  I think it's just time to kick Washington, DC and all of its Politicians and Bearoucrats out of America!
