Attorney General Henry McMaster said he and his counterparts in Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, North Dakota, Texas and Washington state - all Republicans - are jointly taking a look at the deal they've dubbed the "Nebraska compromise."
"The Nebraska compromise, which permanently exempts Nebraska from paying Medicaid costs that Texas and all other 49 states must pay, may violate the United States Constitution - as well as other provisions of federal law," Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott said.
Nebraska wasn't alone in getting Medicaid breaks. Vermont, Louisiana and Massachusetts also got help with their programs.

Article I section 8, clearly states that this deal is unConstitutional, but I believe that we have a bigger criminal issue, bribery.
We have both Federal and State laws to deal with this incredibly blatant act of official collusion and influence. If you did this in business or virtually any other scenario the vote would be null and void, the Senator and the people that offered the Bribe would be indited by now, where are the Law Enforcement Officials right now?!? How long are the American people going to allow their Elected Representatives to do whatever they want, break any law, spend all our money like it's owed to them?
I am appalled at how blatantly this was done, how they totally disregarded the Will of the People and their constituents. One has to question, is our Federal Government more destructive than they are beneficial? You don't have to ask if they are out of control, too expensive, corrupt, and oblivious to the people's wishes, that's more than obvious, but are they now a danger to the American People?
Governments are usually the problem in this world, but I think the Federal Government has gotten to the point that it is actually an enemy of the American people, more destructive and invasive than cancer. It is time to excise the tumor and destroy it, let the healthy parts of the body have a chance at healing the whole. Time to kick Washington, DC, out of America, time to arrest the traitors and have a good old fashioned hanging, alright, maybe just some severe jail time.
I hope before this is all said and done, that someone out there realizes the danger of letting this action go unpunished. I hope that there are still champions of the America we all claim to believe in, and in a position to do something about it. If this is just tolerated, no matter the final outcome of this Bill, there will be no limits to how low our politicians will stoop from now on. There will be no law that is sacred, no crime that is off limits or untried, we already have very little influence of our representatives, after this, we will have none.
Bang on some doors, rattle some cages, run naked through the streets screaming "Injustice", tear the whole Playhouse down, but do not go quietly into the night, or night it will truly be, for America.
